BMGS is seeking a dynamic Visual Arts Teacher to join our Senior School team in Wentworth Falls. This is a full-time temporary position for Term 1, 2025, with the possibility of further employment depending on future needs. The successful candidate will be able to inspire and engage students in the creative and dynamic world of Visual Arts, fostering artistic growth and technical skills.

Employment Overview:

• Temporary Full-Time (FTE 1.0) position during Term 1, 2025.
• Potential for longer term employment.
• Based at BMGS Wentworth Falls Senior School campus.
• Salary in accordance with the Independent Schools Teachers MEA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Visual Arts lessons to Senior School students.
• Develop and implement creative curricula that inspire artistic exploration and excellence.
• Provide clear instruction in practical techniques and key concepts, ensuring student safety in the studio.
• Encourage and guide students in the production of original artwork.
• Foster a supportive environment that promotes student self-expression and artistic growth.
• Contribute to the wider school community and collaborate with other staff members.

Requirements:

• Previous experience teaching Visual Arts, preferably in a secondary school setting.
• A proven track record of engaging students and delivering high-quality, safe, and creative lessons.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
• NESA accreditation to teach in NSW.
• Current NSW Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain).
• Full Australian work rights.
